While I knew the blue version is rather dark both with the exterior paint and the also blue interior, I wish it was metallic to give the paint some pop .
And I cannot ignore the fact the model doesn't have any additional features like sliding seats or opening glovebox or fuel door (the Aviator model mentioned above has - for the same price - all 6 seats in 3 rows moveable in some way: folding, sliding. And it has another opening compartment under the floor in the trunk. And it has nicely detailed hood hinges. This continental only has doglegs).
But, it has all the necessities : opening doors, hood and trunk, nice soft working suspension. And it feels very solid and heavy for a model as the undercarriage is also mostly metal. To add to this feeling, all the panel gaps are minuscule and all opening parts stay firmly in place both closed and open.
Last but not least, the grille is nicely detailed and perforated.
If half stars were possible, this would be a 4,5. Nothing wrong with it, just misses some additional features other models get nowadays.
